I remember during my pregnancy my doctors with their wide eyes and concerned voices demanded that we get serious medical tests done on the fetus because I was considered to have a "high-risk" pregnancy. Yes, at the youthful age of 38, there was something to be alarmed about my 38-year-old body carrying new life. My husband and I smiled at the doctors and said, "Whatever our God gives us, we are and must be prepared to deal with it. So, you can keep all your tests." We were blessed with a beautiful and healthy daughter. <BR/><BR/>As wonderful and loving moms, we are prepared to go any length, climb any mountain for our children. We must do what we must do. So, your daughter gain in speech is not only a triumph for her but for you. That's why she chose you to be her mom and that's why you accepted the challenge to be her mom.
