It is so necessary for me to have a place that I can escape to see what the topic will be and how it will impact my day and my life. The topics take me around the world and I'm happy to go. Thank you for opening your heart and sharing your experiences.

Stopping in for the first time to read after finding your link on Anali's post about her sewing machine. She mentions that you quilt too.

I'm making a memorial quilt from my daughter's clothes, but I am having a tough time getting started. Perhaps that means it isn't time to start yet.

My own space to pause and reflect is the cellar where I keep my beads and other craft materials. It's cool, it's quiet and I'm seldom interrupted once I go there.

Your photos are beautiful. Thank you.

i saw your comment on Anns blog (of the Incredible Gift) and I thought that I would look in on yours. I was touched by your poetry and thoughts on the Air France disaster.

Co incidentally I am also making a memorial quilt of fabric that was intended for a nappy stacker for my baby. It is a slash quilt.

I have to apologize because I haven't visited your blog in a while. I was so excited to see your post from Oct. 19th about the quilt. I recently purchased a quilt pattern to try my hand a making my very first one. Problem is... there really wasn't a pattern, just instructions. Last week I bought the fabric. Yours looks perfect and I am going to remember those images and use them for inspiration to get me through!

P.S. My husband loves Tony Stewart. Maybe more than he loves me... :)
