Meet Gromit (as in Wallace & Gromit). He's our maltese-pomeranian mix. He replaced Wallace, a bunny my daughter won at Easter a few years ago who I was allergic to...Wallace had to go. Isn't Gromit much cuter?
This is Bird (left) and Belle (right). They are my hubby and daughter's fishies, respectively. Bird is laid back, like my hubby. Belle is always on the go, much like my daughter.
And last but not least....drumroll please...my trusted pet. My daughter made it for me. Since she is exhibiting fiercely feminist traits, I'm going to guess it's a she. Like other people I know, this pet has no name yet. :-)
You can participate in the "Pet Parade" by visiting "red or gray depends on the day" or "Planet M Files" and leaving your links there.

Your Gromit is precious!
I love that you can determine differences of personality in fish! I do a similar contrast between my Labs today.
You'll have to pick a strong, colorful, female name for your handmade pet...
i am loving gromit. the dougs. very nice. i missed the pet parade so i had to run back to my post today and stick in a link to my charley post!!! keeps you BUSY this internet friend thing.
Gromit is so cute! We love the Wallace and Gromit shows! We have them on VCR tape. Oh, your fish tank is so clean! Bird and Belle are very handsome fish! How did Bird get his/her name? I think Jennifer is right, your clay pet needs a good strong female name!
Thank you for joining the Pet Parade! This is so much fun!
Gromit is adorable! I've often thought about getting a beta fish, but then I remember I'd have to clean their home and I can barely clean my own home. =) Yes, a very colorful, strong name for your most trusted pet is in order. Love!!
What a fluffball! (Gromit, not his friends!) Cute, cute, cute!
Your bunny replacement is very cute -- Gromit is a great doggie name :-)
It's funny that you've assessed the personalities of your fish :-)
I have no idea why, but the name Petunia popped into my head for your colourful little trusted pet. But it doesn't exactly exude "girl power", does it?? ;-) I'm sure you'll come up with something better :-)

oh this is so cute.Gromit is adorable! and so is the colorful little gal your daughter brought along to the parade. i'm glad you joined the parade.
I don't remember meeting Gromit when we visited..did I? Anyway, definitely a cute ball of fur! You have three pets! Excuse me, four!! You have a diverse family. They are so cute S! Sorry I'm participating late..I need to put Girly out there.
Awww Gromit is very cute, and Bird & Belle! I love the pet your daughter made for you, what a colourful creature :)
Thanks for letting me know about the pet parade, I entered the frogs although really they're pretty free spirits and not officially our pets ;)
I would call it "Minnie."
Although Gromit comes in at a close second, I would have to say that your ultra-fierce pet is my favorite, Se'lah. Definitely something right up my alley in terms of the animal kingdom...it doesn't shed, make a sound, or require food or nurturing.
Utterly perfect in every way!

You have adorable pets! Sad about Wallace. :( I especially love your newest pet!
I love your pets! I did not know you could determine personalities for fish - that is fantastic. I would kind of like a little blue fish named Dory, except my sister stole that name for her cat. :)
Cute dog. I've convinced my husband that I am allergic to dog and cat hair so he won't get any pets. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Hello, Gromit. You are indeed adorable.
Gromit is ADORABLE. Thanks for sharing this sweet picture of him with us.
I will have to think of a name. How about Marley??
Eh naw! ; )
