guest blogger

Lately the sunsets that have eased through my window screen, head straight to my heart.
Yes they do ; )
My eyelids close; my lips form an immediate smile of approval. I welcome in the warmth of the sunset, allowing it to take me home.
A home where...
grandmothers share stories and love
hands are thrown up in gratefulness to Jah
hammocks swing over sandy beaches and lovers footprints
rum scented breezes call my name
yam colored skies burst with salty rainbows
caramel colored dreads swing along the spines of kings
bob marley serenades me underneath the needle of an old record player
hips can't help but find da beat
ah yes the sunset, it takes me by the hand and invites me to paint the most beautiful picture of home.
; )
I want to thank SE'LAH for inviting me over, and allowing me to play at her house. ; )
I love you the most, dear friend.
One love
Christina

I think you just led me to a beach in Negril. ;-)

Did you know the pen is stronger than the knife? Your pen is an incredible tool.

I cannot thank you enough for this moment of solace.

Coming up after the storm, to find these words on what would be my grandmother's 99th birthday? Simply unforgettable!!!

One love.
