*sigh* what a way to start my day...miriam makeba and the soweto gospel choir!
I saw 'Biko' when I was a little kid with my parents in the movie theater. (that's what I watched instead of Disney!) I didn't understand everything that was going on in the movie, but it touched my deeply. I remember sitting in the car on the way to school singing 'Biko' with my dad.

I just read the interview and it is very interesting. I have never been to south africa but many portuguese or portuguese descendent did. It is one of the most developed countries of Africa and so people from Moçambique and Angola go there for study, work and even vacations.

My last year art teacher was from Mozambique and her first job was in South Africa. She told me that once she entered an all black people bus (she is white) and it was a huge scandal. For her there were no white and black segregation, I guess in portuguese colonies and through our history we have blended (even if wrongly lol). It is so curious why did the Beur had this kind of politics...

I have a very interesting publication from ONU about woman in apartheid, it is very interesting!

I will see invictus soon, I have downloaded it - my mom says it has too much of rugby lol but let me see before i judge.

I will now leave you some links of traillers of movies that i think are interesting for this subject.
