just hanging out. vibin' wid midnite.

it's warm outside. forsythias are blooming.

the sky is blue. there's a soft, sweet breeze.

the birds are chirping the most joyful song.

my daughter's enjoying her new pink baseball glove.

and it's NASCAR race day! vroom. vroom.

i wanted to really take a moment

to thank all of you, who come here and visit,

leave behind the most encouraging notes,

touch my spirit through email and post,

hold my hands from afar, laugh and cry

and pray with me. i love you.

to Sherry, and the angels who eagerly followed her lead,

BJ has asked me to tell you that

your light has brightened her life

and that she goes on because of your love.

both she and I are eternally grateful.

my prayers go out to those in Haiti,

to all the sufferers worldwide,

who continue to survive

in spite of unspeakable atrocities,
