before releasing the ballet dancers atop the left thistle, i closed my eyes and imagined my prayers being whisked away by a swirl of wind and floating throughout the universe, touching the hearts of those who need them. one love.
Beautiful. I make a similar prayer when I stand for peace (or more frequently these days, sit for peace). Reminds me of the Buddhist prayer:
May all beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering, May all beings be free from disease and the causes of disease, May all beings live in peace.
