as i was laying here in the sand
gazing at the sunlight kissing this flower
my mind slowly began to wander. (exhale).
i thought of friends,
old and new; near and far,
always there when i need them
and then i remembered someone said
old and new; near and far,
always there when i need them
and then i remembered someone said
that there's going to a party today
so now i'm heading over here to check it out.
i sure do love a summer party.
won't you please join me?
one love.
p.s. Happy Anniversary too, kath!

Oh, such fun... Thanks for letting us know, Se'Lah... I'm off to wish her happy day. :o) Thanks so much for your kind works at my place. ((LOVE & HUGS))
Thank you for stopping by the Cottage on the Garden and your lovely comments. I've been visiting your friend, Kath's blog, too. What a joyful group!
Have a wonderful day!
i love this picture, when i look at it, it reminds me of peace and that poem impermenence.
Laying in the sand...sounds perfect
Sounds fun...
Love this photo! It's so simple and yet so beautiful. Also loved your post!
I followed the links. Lovely blog over there. Your guest post a sweet tribute and the images--such clarity and color! Gorgeous. Thank you for "introducing" us.
P.S. I haven't been reading you long enough to know whether you are acquainted with Alice Walker's Sent by Earth and the Grandmother Spirit blessing she received and encourages us all to practice in circles, ideally circles of seven, though I suspect you know of it because of your "one love" blessing.
I invite you to join my virtual circle of seven to heal ourselves, our people, the Earth--or start your own. I wrote about it on my latest blog post, titled One Earth, one people, one love.
give thanks for all who helped make Kath's birthday a special one.
one love.
