where land meets water
and sky smiles through clouds
listening to raindrops
or soaking up rays of sunlight
while sitting in silence
meditating. praying. daydreaming.
peering through my lens

trying to capture the essence of life
in the arms of my king, or
in the arms of my king, or
each time i hear, i love you mommy
but most all, i find peace
within.

Se'lah, this is so so so BEAUTIFUL, what a picture, thank you so much for sharing!! I'm like you, happy in the arms of my man and hearing the little voice saying 'I love you mommy' ... and I find my peace within, that's the only place that is always there and never changes, sometimes it's not easy, sometimes it comes easily but if I listen and go deep in I get in touch with that place and I find my strength and refuge in the Silence within. Big hugs!!!

For me, peace comes from acceptance, actually surrender - in that place of relief where whatever is, is known. I love the smell of rain and wood fires crackling - a simple meal with family, music. Our home is peaceful,safe, gentle and calm. Amen

I always think of the song, Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. I believe peace first must be within each of us before it can spread to others.
I find peace during my hikes. I love walking through the woods just to see what I can find. The song that always brings me peace is Let It Be by the Beatles.
I find peace in the Word, in my prayer times, in the woods, at the alter...
