flying high...

It's been quite a long time since I've been to a carnival or fair...but I was dragged to one recently.  Inspired by Empress Christina and her bucket list, I had to sneak my camera along with me.  Of course I didn't go on any of these rides :)  but my high-flying daughter, little Se'lah, was happy to hop on board and ride them over and over and over again...for hours!!!

whee-e-e-e-e-e-e-e....

the cliff hanger (little Se'lah in pink)

the zipper

and pharoah's fury

i rode on some of these near-death experiences back in my heyday...didn't turn out too well...and that's all i'm gonna say about that. lol.

how are you doing today?

I used to love love love rollercoasters ! The higher, crazier and faster the better ! But one bout with Vertigo that lasted 3 months after an ear infection a few years back and I can no longer "stomach" those kinds of thrills ! Sad but I still remember the adrenaline rush !
Fun place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. ;)
Happy Monday, Gorgeous One !

WONDERFULLY fun photos, Se'Lah...eeekkk... LOL! I've never been able to do those dare-devil rides--not as a child, not as an adult either. I can manage the carousel, though. ;o) Guess I've always preferred flying more down to earth! Happy Week, my friend ((HUGS))

HI SE'LAH
oh such fun for the very young. This ole gal needs her feet firmly on the ground at all times :-) . Great pictures.
Love to you

Fantastic pics Se'Lah! The last shot is of a ride that I saw last year at the Wrightstown Fair that's held here in my area every year. Love the zipper. And Little Se'Lah isn't so little anymore as she's getting taller. I'm not a big amusement park fan although I have a friend who is and is crazy about roller coasters. ME? I'm just content to sit and people watch.

In my younger days the rides were no problem, can't do them anymore, but I do love to watch and hear them scream, and then be so happy. lol. wishing you lots of love. hugs.

Never! Ever! I've always kept my feet firmly planted on the ground at carnivals and amusement parks. I can't bear the heights, upside-down ones or the super fast rides. I'm such a wimp.

But Little Se'lah-- WOW! She's very brave. Glad she had fun.
