taking light steps...

these days i'm treading lightly

and my path may be uncertain

but i "know" the Most High JAH 

will always guide my every step

having felt what it is to be loved

every single day.

shelter, clothes, food, clean water

i give thanks for these blessings

meditation in a peaceful space

prayers sent up

life (exhale)... 

each breath i take.

the warm bed i cuddle in at night

in a new light...

the soft morning light

kissing my eyelids

wake up, i say.

i stretch my arms

toward the heavens

and on bended knees

i humbly pray...

may we live slowly

and more mindfully,

be gentle to our souls,

practise loving-kindness,

remember the forgotten,

help those who live in need,

and now and for always 

know the true meaning of
peace and love.
