Conscious Friday: Cancer...

A little over 2 years ago, I lost one of my best friends, Doris, to breast cancer. She was only 39 years old and in the prime of her life. It was all very shocking and surreal to me. It was the first time that cancer hit close to home. Since then, I have had at least 3 other friends diagnosed with cancerous or pre-cancerous cells.

This Conscious Friday is for all of those touched by (pre)cancer, whether pursuing treatment naturally, herbally, holistically, medically, or otherwise (and to their loved ones too). Believe.

One Love, Se'Lah

Well, this conscious posting opened my morning eyes! To all who are battling this disease or know of someone battling this disease, stay positive and conscious about keeping your body moving, putting lots of healthy fruits and green vegetables in your body and most importantly, know from the core of your very Being/Spirit that you ARE healing! And guess what, you are healed!

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. That must be very hard.

Your friend is in our thoughts. I know this loss too. My husband is training for a cancer run, he will run in honor for all those who have been touched by cancer, he will run for the memory of his mother.

Peace and xo

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, Doris. I lost both my mom and dad to cancer and also know too many people that it has taken.

Cancer is such a cruel thing, isn't it? I am so sorry for your loss. I know there is still much pain. I don't know if this will help, but wanted to share a brief story of hope. My mother-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer, and had a mastectomy. That was 18 years ago.

so sorry to hear about your friend - 39 is so young. my mom has been battling breast cancer for 15 years now, so it is an all-too-familiar part of my life. it is a very scary disease.

last september i posted about a book called "anti-cancer, a new way of life" that gave me some hope. you might want to check it out here:
