This is a sadly beautiful combination of picture and words. So true.

I see so many of these men. While stopped at a light or in traffic around the city. As they ask for money, regardless of whether I give or not, I try to look them in the eye, so they know that someone sees them.

Se'lah, yesterday I visited your post - this one. It was late at night and suddenly I didn't know how to comment about it. It's sad. It's terrible that things like this happen. We are all connected one to another ... and we live so separated one from another. It almost felt like a 'joke' for me to say that I find it sad. So I didn't comment. Before going to bed as I was sitting in my meditation I had the imagine of the man in a front of my eyes. I did 'offer' my meditation to this image. I did pray for him. That was all I could do. But I did it with a deep sense of belonging. And compassion. Thank you for this awareness. Sending love your way. Hugs.

So sad, so humbling... that could be any of us... You always show us what is essential, Se'Lah ((HUGS))

Each day I pass a man without a home.
Each day I regret not offering him something.

He actually looks like Jesus which makes it worse for me. I feel like I'm dissing Jesus.

Yet daily I make the same excuses for not stopping. No time. Oh he looks okay today. He likely won't want my help. The list goes on...

Endless list of excuses.
I feel like I could do more sometimes. I am full of fear however. My children are the number one reason why I wouldn't risk inviting a stranger into our home.

There is always an excuse. I wish the world were a better place.

Thanks for the reminder. xoox

But you did.

This could be any of us. What a good reminder.

Thank you for the birthday wishes!

Very beautiful and powerful. I think so many of us have become so decensitized by situations in the world that so much is overlooked. like this invisible man. who has a story, maybe a family, etc. one love Have a great week my friend.

Such a powerful image Se'Lah - there but by the grace of God - we could all be that invisible man. Thank you for looking.

I love your blog. Linked here from The Blog Cafe at JoLyn's. I like the thought of a Necessary room. I think I'll go there now and enjoy the music of silence.

My first thought was to say nothing. Is that how we react when we see a homeless person, say nothing and it will go away. This touches my heart.

Somedays, when I am mindful, I see him. I give him a big smile or a bit of a wave. What don't I do that everyday ? Not sure...but I know I can do better...we all can.

Big love, Wise One.

How sad, yet how true. I cannot imagine how many people out there feel like this. They are in my thoughts because of you.
