look down too...

i could have looked up at the sunny blue sky in awe
but instead i chose to bend my head
and gaze deeply into her shadows.

Love that circle shadow - just beautiful. Shadows have much to teach us too, right, Lovely One ? Especially when we shine a light on them.
Big Love to you !

There's a powerful something in the juxtaposing of that fresh spring-green grass against the backdrop of a winter-bare tree. Shadowed in between. Lovely.

That is lovely. The photo, and the thought.

Oh! Look at the shadow! It's like a merry-go-round.

I thought this was truly beautiful, always that there is more than one way to look at things, a reminder to keep our minds open. hugs to you my friend.

Here I was standing right there and I didn't even notice the shadow surrounding the whole tree! Lovely!

What beautiful shadows lay under the tree.

I agree with Marilyn. The beauty lies in the shadow of the tree.

You can't have the shadow without the sun - they go hand in hand. There's gotta be a lesson in that somewhere, yes? =) An excellent observation, Se'Lah.

I love this poem! How often as we travel through our day we overlook the things that are the closest to us. We miss so much beauty!
