my guiding light...

"so help me god," they say
before unleashing a forked tongue
to create fantasies in the minds of men

but I call upon the Most High JAH
Almighty defender of truth and righteousness
and step forth, armed only with my conscience.  Selah.

*I am enjoying a week of prayer.  I couldn't resist pulling out my half-a-century-old bible for this one.  Closing my eyes, I exhaled.  Turning the very, very worn pages, I could almost feel the earnest prayers of all those before me who held this bible while on bended knees, seeking help or deliverance from JAH.  And out of this divine consciousness, came this prayer for our brothers and sisters around the world who are fighting to prove their innocence.  May you all find great strength and courage in JAH.

one love.

I've been praying more often myself. It's comforting to know others have prayed the same prayers before us.

Se'lah, may your meditation and prayer let peace and serenity settle into your heart and infuse your spirit with the love you so generously give. Much love, Lyn

This week I've felt the only way to get to the weekend without being 100% miserable is to try and remain in a prayerful mode - no matter what's happening around me.

"Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him."

I love this. I pray daily for those I love, myself(mainly to be a better person), those poor in spirit or those in poverty etc.

You always give such inspiration, Se'Lah
